Things to know about bikes:

• Lock yer bikes all the time, and keep them in the basement rather than leaving them outside for a long time. Bikes have been stolen from our yard in the past.
• Use lights when you ride at night. Don't die!
• Don't lock your bikes in front of doors or blocking staircases, like those in front or back. In front, locking your bike parallel to the railings works.
• Talk to me (Alan) if you need help fixing your bike.

Bike resources:

• Free Ride has sessions where folks will help you fix your bike & where you can earn a free bike.
• Kraynick's (5003 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224) has tools & bike stands free to use for bike fixing & a good supply of repair parts; other folks at the store will often help you fix things
• http://www.ironcitybikes.com/? is friendly, within walking distance, repairs your bike pretty well, and has sensible accessories for sale.
